Welding : Below water line two faces, above deck level one face.
Engine beds : Welded to suit engine type with sump tray.
Chain locker : Watertight bulkhead with chain tray & overboard drain.
Diesel tanks : To be free-standing with inspection hatch (653 ltrs) each x 2
Keel cooling tanks : To be integral built in with all connections for engine, generator
& hydraulics cooling.
Bowthruster tube : Fitted forward for hydraulic bowthruster (300mm diam).
Bowthruster hatch : Inspection hatch for bowthruster impeller

Aft deck : Stainless steel handrails at determined height welded to extended raised scuppers forming shallow bulwarks.

PAINT SYSTEM
The vessel to be built with quality steel and finished in an AWLGRIP paint system.
After completion of the steelwork, the exterior to be shot-blasted under controlled conditions and treated with hullguard epoxy primer.
Hull and superstructure to be filled and faired to BSM specifications.
Whole hull to be then treated with one more coat of hullguard epoxy.
AWLGRIP system to continue as specification with Ultrabuild primers and topcoats.
- To have epoxy coating to all external surfaces. internal surfaces not covered by insulating foam to have etch primer and bilge paint.
- All welds from main deck up, to be filled with a twin pack filler and sanded to a smooth finish.
- Anti-fouling coat below waterline x 2
- Hull and superstructure to have twin pack Ultrabuild.
- Main deck to have non slip deck finish. x 2
- Hull and superstructure to have Awlgrip topcoat finish x 2-4
- All bilges to be coated with 2-3 coats etch primer and be finished with single pack grey bilge paint.
